Summary
These Terms govern access to and use of Mnemia, including the website, mobile app, AI features, decks, marketplace, multiplayer experiences, subscriptions, and related services. By using Mnemia, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy, acceptable-use rules, community rules, subscription rules, and copyright processes.
Account, age, and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and meet the minimum legal age for digital services. If a learner needs parent, guardian, or educational-institution authorization, that authorization must exist before use. We may verify, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, security, rights, or legal compliance.
Acceptable use
Use Mnemia lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass, impersonate, cheat, interfere with the service, scrape, abuse automation, bypass technical controls, publish illegal content, or upload material you do not have the right to use.
Some features, deck sources, AI inputs, billing flows, marketplace views, exam filters, or multiplayer controls may be previewed, limited, hidden, changed, or disabled during rollout, testing, compliance review, reliability work, or abuse-prevention work.
User content and learning materials
You keep ownership of your content, decks, and materials, but grant Mnemia the permissions needed to host, process, sync, display, share, moderate, and operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights clearance of content you create, upload, share, publish, or sell.
AI and recommendations
AI features support learning and productivity. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or outdated. You must review answers, cards, summaries, and recommendations before relying on them, sharing them, publishing them, or selling them. Mnemia does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, formal academic, or other regulated professional advice.
AI generation, file analysis, OCR, audio processing, quality review, and similar compute-intensive features require Premium access, AI credits, or another paid entitlement unless a feature explicitly says otherwise.
AI credits represent processing capacity, not a fixed number of generations. Estimates and actual usage may vary by prompt length, source text, PDF pages, processing mode, OCR, images, audio, requested cards, model limits, retries, and abuse-prevention controls.
AI credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, are non-transferable, and may be used only for Mnemia in-app AI processing. They may expire, reset, be adjusted, or be revoked for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, abuse, entitlement loss, or account termination where permitted by law.
Mnemia may change credit pricing, included allowances, model or provider availability, multipliers, fair-use thresholds, and processing costs prospectively. Credit estimates are informational; final usage may vary, and completed or provider-incurred processing may consume credits even if you discard or dislike the output.
If an AI input mode, including audio-based creation, is unavailable or hidden, you may not rely on it for production use until Mnemia makes it available in the app.
Subscriptions and purchases
Premium features may be offered through subscriptions, one-time purchases, trials, promotions, educational licenses, or enterprise plans. When a purchase is processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized provider, billing, renewal, cancellation, taxes, purchase restoration, and refunds are handled under that provider's rules.
Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled before the renewal date in the applicable billing platform. Deleting the app, stopping use, or deleting an account may not cancel a subscription processed by a third party.
Monthly included AI credits may reset each billing period, may not roll over, and very large files or abusive use may be paused, limited, rejected, or require extra confirmation before processing.
Marketplace, community, and moderation
We may remove, restrict, de-index, or limit public content, decks, listings, multiplayer activity, reputation, or accounts when we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, impersonation, cheating, rights infringement, legal risk, marketplace manipulation, or unsafe conduct. Where practicable or legally required, we may provide notice, reasons, or an appeal path.
Official marketplace decks may appear differently across study, exam, audio review, and multiplayer modes based on language, access tier, card type, quality controls, and product rules.
Intellectual property and notices
Mnemia, its designs, software, technology, official content, recommendation systems, marketplace structure, brand, and proprietary elements belong to Mnemia or its licensors. If you believe content available through Mnemia infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, contact legal@mnemia.cards with enough information for review.
Data and privacy
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Mnemia may use operational data, analytics, security signals, and de-identified information to operate, protect, improve, and comply with legal obligations, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mnemia is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, permanent preservation of content, or specific educational outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights, liability, or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, Mexico. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rights that cannot legally be waived.
